A 2008 Honda Ridgeline is equipped with a timing belt that is equipped on the 3.5L v6 engine. You should start to visually inspect the belt at 90,000 and have plans to replace the part before 105,000 miles. The belts last a while but can cause damage if they break while in use and could be a lot more money to repair whatever broke along with the timing belt. Prices can range from $400 - $500 for a timing belt repair from a mechanic. You will instinctively know if the timing belt fails and You will hear a loud snap noise and cling because of the loose part of the engine. The vehicle will not be driven and if You need to get the car towed to an auto repair shop, it would not be necessary. Some indicators to watch out for are rough idling or engine mIS Firing, oil leakage at the front of the engine and the control engine light will illuminate if You believe Your timing belt is going poor.

400-500$ to replace a timing belt on a v6 honda engine? Hahaha. More like 1100 to 1600. Called 5 shops in my area- which has a great cost of living vs the rest of the nation
