The 2008 Subaru Impreza has an AUX input located in the center console. This allows You to connect an Audio device using a cable with a 3.5mm male jack. The radio needs to be set to AUX mode for the Audio to be played through the speakers. Pressing the CD/AUxButton will select this mode. Use high quality cables to ensure the beSTSound, bad cables will cause poor sound quality. When connecting a devise, turn the volume down on radio and devise and adjust to a comfortable level.

I'm guessing it depends on what package you included when you purchased your 2008 Impreza. Because I have a 2008 Impreza and there is NO AUX PORT in the center console. There is a lighter / power input but no AUX PORT. The manual says there is one, but it is not in my model. But the stereo does have the CD/AUX option; go figure.

Don't listen to Bella P.... Yes, the 08' Impreza does have a stock aux port. The plug-in is located in the center console.

No, it doesn't have aux input port. But the stereo does have the CD/AUX option; go figure.
So garret you actually can use the navigation head unit with a aux I just bought the aux cord and adapter that fits up to the head unit and swapped the cd aux with the phone aux hope this helps
