The 2010 BMW X5 does have a spare tire. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is key to not crashing. You will come into issues with this part at some time or another. You could face cupping problems. You might run into feathering problems. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. The part may become loose at some point. Check for holes, in case You run over a nail. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road.

The spare tire option on the x5 goes in the storage compartment in the rear floor which is where the 3rd-row seats stow,

The 2010 BMW X5 does not come with a spare tire standard. There is an option to purchase a compact spare at an additional cost from the BMW dealership.
