The 2010 Chevy Malibu doesn't have a cabin air filter. You will come across a few annoying noises from the air conditioner. Loose mounting bolts will become a nuisance. A bad compressor will get noisy. Too much Freon will make this happen. These sounds need to be look into quickly or You will lose Your mind. Being a sweaty mess is never a great time. That's why the air conditioner needs to be in top shape. You will face issues with this part at some time. The motor might become faulty. An inaccurate thermostat could arise. A nasty odor from the vents will cause problems with Your comfort. A fan may become loose. A Freon leak will cause You to sweat.

The 2010 Chevy Malibu does not come with a cabin air filter. There exists a space for it, but it was not a standard part that Chevy provided for the 2010 model year.

So IS there a cabin filter for a 2010 Malibu or not? You can buy one so I would think yes. But I see a lot of reviews saying there is NOT a cabin filter on one. I need someone that knows for sure to answer.
