The 2010 GMC Yukon's cabin air filter should be housed inside the AC and heater module stored behind the glove compartment box on the passenger side of the truck. Many consider a cabin air filter to be an integral part of a healthy environment, keeping the interior of the truck free of dust, dirt and allergy-causing pollens. A filter also works with the HVAC system of a vehicle to protect its fan and ducts from clogging or damage. When servicing a CAF, keep in mind it must be changed as part of a routine maintenance schedule, and while this interval varies based on make and model owned, most manufacturers recommend replacing the CAF at least every 15,000 and 30,000 miles to keep the interior of the vehicle clean.

The 2010 GMC Yukon does not have a cabin air filter. Air filters are not available standard in these models and require more than a simple install in order to have one.
