The good news is that the 2010 Toyota Highlander did come with available bluetooth connectivity -- but only for hands-free calls (not music streaming). It's only available as an option at the Limited trim levels, as a part of the JBL Audio package. If You're looking for connectivity on other trim levels (or if You're looking to stream music) -- You'll have to explore aftermarket solutions. The good news is that bluetooth connectivity can be had quite cheaply -- You can pick up a bluetooth receiver for as little as a few bucks that plugs into Your aux port. However, if You want to be thorough, You can find a compatible head unit from a manufacturer like Sony, JVC, Pioneer, Kenwood, and others. This is a little more expensive, but You'll know that the job is done right.

The 2010 Toyota Highlander only has Bluetooth hands-free capability as an optional add-on for the V6 Limited and Hybrid Limited trim levels. The JBL audio package must be purchased in each of these trims to have Bluetooth. The base Highlander and LE trim levels do not offer Bluetooth as an option. Packages offerings Bluetooth are the Highlander Limited Extra Value Package 1 and 2, Highlander Hybrid Limited Extra Value Package JBL Audio w/CD Changer package, or the Highlander Hybrid Limited Extra Value Package.
