Yes, the 2011 Chevy Malibu can be equipped with Bluetooth but only as an option on the 1LT as part of the All-Star Edition Package. Wireless phone connectivity is standard on the 2Lt and LTZ trims and optional on the base LS .

I was able to connect to Bluetooth through phone, but could only make and receive calls. I was not able to play music. Next step will be to call the dealer.
