The 2011 Chevy Silverado comes with an auxiliary input. This is a very convenient feature that allows You to plug in Your external device to interface with the car's entertainment system. It is a 3.5 mm standard input jack where You plug in the 3.5 mm male end of a device. You can listen to Your music and even take calls while it is plugged in. This is an easy plug and play set up, where You don't have to do any configuration like a bluetooth would require, for instance. You simply plug it in and press the dedicated AUxButton on the stereo system. This allows the screen display things like Caller ID and music track information directly fed from Your phone.
