The power windows in the 2012 Ford Focus do not seem to have any issues that are specific to this model, nor does it have any that occur with a higher frequency than in any other vehicle. However, that doesn't mean that You're exempt from the problems that we all face; they are, after all, power windows. From time to time, things will fail. Most commonly, You'll find issues with the wiring itself, but it's also possible that Your power window motor or regulator will fail. Repair usually necessitates replacement, which can be a pain; removing the inner trim panel from a '12 Focus is not the simplest task in the world. You'll likely want to learn though, because the estimated cost of a regulator replacement is $200, whereas only about $60-70 of that is for parts. Yikes.

Power windows that malfunction are a pesky issue for owners of the 2012 ford focus; this problem affects front, rear, passenger-side and driver windows, and fixes range from diy to replacement of the window regulator and motor.
