As with most other vehicles, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee does indeed come with a fuel cap. If the Cherokee that You're looking at doesn't have one, then You should consider getting it replaced as soon as possible. From time to time, they may become damaged; this will likely cause an EVAP leak, which will illuminate the check engine light and throw one (if not more) trouble codes. If You need a replacement, You should be able to find one through just about any major automotive parts store, Amazon, or other mass merchandisers. This is a fairly simple swap; there's absolutely no reason that You can't juSTScrew the new fuel cap into place. Be careful You don't accidentally use one that's fitted with a lock though, if You don't have the key. Unfortunately, I've been there!
