The 2014 Nissan Maxima comes in one of four different Audio configurations. You're looking at either units with or without a navigation system, with or without upgraded Bose Audio, and with color or monoC-HRome dash display. I note this because the configuration that You have determines whether or not Your vehicle comes with bluetooth capabilities. In short, You need to have the upgraded tech package in order to get bluetooth connectivity -- it comes with both hands free calling as well as music streaming. The easy way to tell on a car that You didn't buy new is that if it has a navigation system, it will have bluetooth. Even if it doesn't, You're still not out of luck -- if You have a color or monoC-HRome dash display, there's a good chance that You also have bluetooth. If You have no dash display Then unfortunately, You'll have to look into aftermarket solutions.

For the 2014 Nissan Maxima, both hands-free Bluetooth and Bluetooth with streaming audio is available as an add-on option for the SV trim level models. You will need to purchase one of the three Tech packages (3.5 SV; Sport; Premium) in order to have this feature. Bluetooth is not an option in the S trim level.
