Does the 2015 BMW X5 have a remote start?

To put it shortly, the 2015 BMW X5 doesn't have remote start. It can be fitted with various aftermarket kits, but the option didn't exist via original equipment. Expanding it to a little bit longer -- You'd be surprised to know that even as of model year 2021, NO BMW has included remote start from the manufacturer. While they're top of the line in luxury and performance, this one desirable feature has always been notably missing. As an American driver, it boggles my mind. But it makes more sense when You put it in context -- Germany and some other European nations actually have laws against fitting new vehicles with remote starting functionality. So, it makes a lot more sense when You consider where the vast majority of BMW's market is.
