The 2015 GMC sierra does have Apple CarPlay. You will come into issues with the sound. The source could be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will have to have these issues solved quickly. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the issues are coming from the phone, it could mean that the software won't update, the device won't sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is too low, or something is blocking the signal.

The 2015 GMC Sierra did not have Apple CarPlay originally, but dealerships now have an upgrade option available. Additionally, there are aftermarket systems that you can have installed that will allow for your 2015 Sierra to have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as a feature.
