The 2015 Hyundai Sonata does not come with a traditional remote start, Unlike many newer cars that uses a fob to start the motor, as well as to replace the key, this one uses an app. If You download the Hyundai blue link app to Your phone and then pair Your phone to the car via bluetooth, then You will be able to start the car this way. That said this is only for the higher trim levels, so if You have the basic model then this will not work. You will still be able to pair and link, but when You try to start nothing will happen.

You can’t even use Bluelink for 2015 anymore they removed the system even tho there’s a button for it so my guess is you’ll have to install an aftermarket kit to do remote start
My 2015 Sonata Limited does not have a remote start..

The 2015 Hyundai Sonata does come with the option of remote start via Hyundai's Blue Link. Otherwise, you'll have to install an aftermarket kit.
