The 2016 Chevy Malibu may or may not have a CD player, this is depending on the options that were selected from the factory. If you have the MyLink system with the 8 inch screen it did not come with a CD player. Many automotive manufacturers have began to ditch the CD player option in their cars. This is because so few people are listening to CDs these days. It is most common for someone to have their music stored on an MP3 player, smartphone, or a USB drive. Auto brands have decided it is more important to support those newer technology options instead of having a CD player installed in the car so they have began removing them.
