Whether the 2016 Toyota Prius has a spare tire depends on its trim package. The Prius Two and Three are the only models that come with the space saver spare. There is space designed to accommodate a spare tire in the rear cargo area in all models, but Toyota chose to cut costs and eliminated it. The Two Eco, Four, Three and Four Touring all come with a tire puncture repair kit. The kit is located underneath the trunk floor and is designed to temporarily repair a puncture caused by a small nail or screw in the tread. If the damage is more than that You would need to call or roadside assistance to have the car towed to get the tire repaired or replaced.
