The 2017 Dodge Journey does have bluetooth. You will come into issues with the sound. The source could be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will have to have these issues solved quickly. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the problems are coming from the phone, it could be that the software won't update, the device will not sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is almost dead, or an object is blocking the signal.

I have the 2017 Dodge Journey SXT and Im sure I don't have bluetooth. There is no indicator that it does.

Most vehicles come with some form of Bluetooth connectivity. The Journey is no different. On the Crossroad trim and higher, it offers both phone and audio connectivity. If you are looking for alternatives to Bluetooth, it has a few other choices including an aux port.
