The 2017 Ford C-Max houses its spare tire in a small enclosed area that is within the floor bounds of the trunk. To access it, locate the little tab that comes out of the floor bounds and push it to pop open the tire container. If Youre struggling to locate it, You can always consult Your owner's manual, which should contain a detailed diagram of where exactly the spare tire is. Furthermore, it should have a guide to access, obtain and change Your tires. Apart from spare tires, its also very good to have things like a jack on hand, as this can make replacing the tires much smoother.
The Cmax is not equipped with a spare tire. Ford supplies an air pump and tire slime for emergencies.

There's no spare and most of the external options have been "discontinued" even in after-market. What gives? This seems to be a nice car so why does Ford hate it? Has anybody else heard that mismatching tire sizes will screw up the sensors and shut down your engine? I haven't been so frustrated since GM killed the EV-1 before I could get one.

The ford C-Max does not come with a spare tire. It does come with a tire mobility kit which consists of a air pump and a can of fix-a-flat.
