As the driver of a 2017 Ford Transit, You may be wondering if the make and model for Your vehicle has been involved in complaints or recalls regarding the brakes. There have been multiple reports of issues with the brakes. These complaints typically involve the brakes suddenly no longer working, which greatly increases Your risk of an accident or injury. It also includes the brake pedal becoming stuck in the compressed position. If the brakes need to be replaced, You can expect to pay between $48 and $248 for parts alone. If You choose to pay a professional technician or automotive mechanic to complete the change, You will need to pay an additional $80 to $260 for labor.

Rear pads wear faster then the front. I got about 36k out of the rear on my 2017. And still on the original front at 44k with 9mm of life on them. My van is loaded up daily to about 9,500lbs sometimes occasionally over 10k. I also pull a dump trailer that weighs empty at 4K lbs and normal load at 8-9k. Just to give you an idea on brakes on the van. Also I drive fairly aggressive and run larger tires also.
