The 2017 Toyota Corolla does come equipped with navigation capabilities as part of its infotainment system. You will need to download an app onto Your device. Locate the Scout GPS Link application in Your phone's play store. Once it is downloaded, open the app and wait for the display to tell You the neXTStep. Now You will need to start an update on Entune system. This will all You to connect to gps via Your phone while You drive.
So, you mean to tell me, the Entune audio software, on any 2017 Toyota Corolla LE Eco, will never be upgraded by Toyota? Meaning then, the only possible upgrade would be an aftermarket one coming from the owner. I mean, don't get me wrong, at all!, as a 2017 Corolla owner, I really, really love my stock sound system, Entune, but a GPS/Navi feature, would be nice to have, as well as a safety feature, so that drivers are not distracted or limited to always relying on their phone and who knows, it may only prevent countless unnecessary future accidents??Hint*Hint*Toyota!! ??? My current vehicle is a 2017 Toyota Corolla, which is a 30 year upgraded version of the very 1st car that I ever owned and learned to drive "stick" with. It was a 1987 Toyota Corolla... I burnt the clutch once learning, but once i did, it's like it was meant to be.... I should have purchased the standard transmission version for my 2017. I am really happy that I decided to buy a Toyota, but most of all, I LOVE MY TOYOTA!!! Hell of an upgrade story!!??
My 2017 Corolla LE does not come equipped with any kind of GPS. The stock system is not an ENTUNE system you must purchase the upgraded Entune system in order to be able to use the GPS or app features at all you cannot even use android auto or apple with it it is just not compatible the chip sets are different. The other system is over $1,500.00 to purchase separately. Unless any one knows how to upgrade the said software. ( please let me know if there is a way)I have been looking for years.
