On the 2017 Toyota RAV4, Homelink was offered as optional equipment, and came standard on the Limited and Platinum trim levels. For everyone else, it's possible to purchase Homelink compatible digital mirrors and have them installed as a sort of aftermarket part, but it's advised that this can get quite expensive. For the uninitiated, HomeLink isn't just a garage door opener, it's a home automated system which can enable the vehicle to seamlessly integrate with the rest of the home. Toyota's purring quite a bit of stock in the system, fitting it in 2021 to the Camry, Corolla, Mirai, Prius, Avalon, Sienna, RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra -- just about their entire model line. If it's a feature You can't live without, be sure to check out those aftermarket parts and don't be left behind.
