However, the symbol for the button may differ for vehicles of different brands Although the BMW X3 does not have a remote start option, You can have it installed on Your vehicle for around $500. No, the 2018 BMW X3 does not have an option for remote start. There has been a retrofit for BMWs F15, X5 and F10 5 series to include Remote Engine Start. It can be used with the original key fob, so no need to carry too around. The BMW Connected Drive app currently has no remote start options, so smartphone remote start is out of reach.
