The 2018 Chevy Silverado does have Apple CarPlay. You will come into difficulties with the sound. This might be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will need to have these issues fixed pronto. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the problems are coming from the phone, it could be that the software won't update, the device will not sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is almost dead, or an object is blocking the signal.

It seems like every vehicle maker has their own, in house operating system for their infotainment systems, and Chevy is one of them. With MyLink, Chevy owners can use their phones apps, communication features, entertainment and navigation, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in an easy to reach color touch screen display. On the Silverado WT, the LS and the Custom, MyLink can be used with the equipped 7 inch display. In the Silverado LT, the LT Z71 (also known as the LT 2LT), the LTZ, the LTZ Z71 (also known as the LTZ 2LZ) and the High Country are more premium models and therefore come with some extra perks. These trims have an 8 inch touch screen display with their MyLink, along with voice activation. Again, these come with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
