The 2018 Ford Focus does not have a gas cap because it has a capless fueling system. There's no gas cap need - so no cap to lose or forget or not tighten properly. It's tamper resistant to block vandalism and siphoning. The only down side is that you need a special nozzle if you're adding fuel from a gas can, but otherwise fill up just like you normally would and wait 5 seconds after pumping before you pull the nozzle from the car.
