The 2018 Hyundai Sonata doesn't have a spare tire. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road. Making sure Your tires are in the best condition is key to not crashing. You will come into problems with this part at some time or another. You could run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Premature tire wear is something You could face. The part might become loose at some point. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month. Check for holes, in case You run over something sharp.

The 2018 Hyundai Sonata does indeed include a spare utility tire. I own a newly purchased 2018 Hyundai Sonata and have used this utility tire on more than one occasion.

No, the 2018 Hyundai Sonata does not have a spare tire. In fact, spare tires are no longer included on 30% of new model vehicles. Hyundai replaces the spare with a Tire Mobility Kit. The kit includes an aerosol can of tire sealant, a tire gauge and small air compressor to inflate the tire. Hyundai says the sealant can sell a puncture up to 1/16th of inch. Plug the compressor into your car's cigarette lighter using the power adapter that's provided. It's unclear if the compressor holds a charge without being plugged in, so make sure it can service a flat on the rear tires. If you don't want to change your own tire, a good roadside assistance package is the best solution.
