The 2018 Jeep Cherokee is equipped with a spare tire in the rear cargo area. Lift the carpeted floor board to reveal recessed storage. Underneath this level is the load floor. The Cherokee's spare is stored in the center of the load floor with a laminated instruction sheet, a set of tire irons and a tire jack. The tire is fully sized to match the trim of Your vehicle. When changing the tire make sure to park on a flat surface in a safe location and turn the hazards on. Use the jack closest to the damaged tire. Remove the wheel bolts to lift off the old tire and use the alignment pin to replace the new wheel evenly.

Jeep's 2018 Cherokee have a full sized spare as well as a compact spare tire in their front wheel drivetrain for the Limited, the Latitude and the Latitude Plus trims. These trims in their comparable four wheel drivetrain don't come with the compact spare tire. The Cherokee Trailhawk doesn't come with either a full sized or a compact spare. Like the Trailhawk, the Cherokee Overland with four wheel drive also does not come with any spare. The Front wheel drive train version of the Outlander does come with a compact spare tire.
