Yes, Android Auto comes standard on the 2018 Subaru Forester. This feature allows You to play music on Your Subaru, as well as to seamlessly integrate Your smartphone with You car so You don't have to pick up Your phone while driving. Additionally, Subaru's STARLINK lets You use the touchscreen or voice commands to control navigation, what's playing on the radio or console, and make phone calls. On some models it even listens You control the climate controls as well. Heck, You can even listen to the news and random podcasts, if that's Your thing. All in all, it's a pretty cool tech to have in Your Scooby.

This is incorrect. The 2018 Forester *does not* have Android Auto. Since this is the first answer that pops up on google for this question, I believe this post/answer should be removed. It's misleading and incorrect.

The 2018 Subaru Forester does come with Android auto. Those using an Android mobile smartphone can connect to their STARLINK In-Vehicle Technology also by plugging into your USB port.

We just bought one and it has Starling notAndroid Auto, we have tried multiple times to get it integrated and it is not compatible.

It does not (at least not by default). It require some app gymnastics [Starlink] to see to semblance of Android Auto.
