The 2019 BMW X3 doesn't have remote start. This piece of equipment will eventually become useless. The battery will need to be replaced every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. It may coSTSome money, but You will have to cough up the cash to keep Your car running. You will come into issues with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to spill out. The battery can just die. You will need to recharge or replace it at this point. A cracked case could come about and will need to be replaced completely. The battery can drain quickly and will need to fixed.

According to my dealership, remote start was available using the BMW App starting on models manufactured in July 2019 and going forward.

BMW still does not offer remote start via a key fob as standard/optional equipment. You can purchase aaftermarket OEM remote start system that can be purchased from, and installed by, the dealer.
