In an effort to save weight (and likely costs, as well), the 2019 Toyota Prius does not come with a spare tire. Toyota instead includes a "fixA flat" kit, much to the chagrin of many drivers. While it's more convenient than nothing, it doesn't compare to the security and reliability of having a full sized spare in tow, or even a donut. Many drivers report picking up a spare sized 125/80 or 125/70 to keep in their cargo area. If You're looking for options, plenty exist; You'll need to shop around for the best price or the best fit, but You can typically find a mounted tire with a compatible wheel in the sub-$250 price range. Alternatively, You can also purchase a full size P195/65R15 to match Your existing tires, though this may be a bit of overkill.

2019 Prius Prime does not come with a spare tire because it had to make room for the extra batteries needed for Full EV mode. I love driving EV 99% of the time, but for long trips it's great to just go hybrid, but not having the spare tire is worrisome. Recently got a nail in one tire but luckily was near home and a dealer. So now I'm looking for a spare to carry during road trips.
