The Honda Fit has front wheel drive. Having good steering is crucial for changing lanes and moving about on the road. You will someday come across some problems though. It could turn to one side. The steering wheel may become stuck. The steering pump may become loose and that will spell disaster for Your vehicle. The strut bearings might become bad. The rack mount can become faulty. Steering fluid might leak at one point. The power steering fluid needs to be changed every 75,000 miles or so. Along with replacing fluids, You will come across noises from steering parts. A loose bearing will become painful to the ear. A faulty bearing will make a terrible sound.

Honda's 2018 Fit comes with many options, even throughout its few trim styles. The Fit's EX trim can comes with continuously variable-speed transmission or manual. The Fit in the trims EX, LX and Sport have the option of coming with a continuously variable-speed transmission, or CVT. The Fit EX-L, however, only comes with a CVT. Throughout all of these different trims the only drivetrain the Honda Fit is equipped with is front wheel drive.
