The Hyundai Genesis has a timing chain. Timing chains are housed within the engine and receive lubrication from engine oil and can last a long time, while timing belts are located outside of the engine and tend to dry out and crack. To avoid timing chain problems You should maintain Your engine properly and have the engine oil changed at recommended intervals. Using premium quality engine oils and oil filters will also help.Keeping the proper oil level will ensure that the timing chain is always lubricated. This is especially important considering that many modern engines are known to consume oil. Timing chains usually will last the lifetime of the engine. It's when You get high mileage say around 200,000 miles or more than a chain could cause some timing issues and may need replacing then.

Depends on the year of the vehicle and the make.

My Genesis has 18000 miles. The oil has been changed every 3500 miles. I use the best gas. So, do I need to have the chain replaced at around 2000,000, or not?
