Changing the transmission fluid in a 2015 Ford Escape is a pretty easy thing to do, and is not much harder than changing the oil. You will need to get a ratchet and sockets to be able to do it. The firSTStep is to get the vehicle up in the air, or crawl underneath it if You are going to do it on the ground. Next You will need to place an oil catch canister beneath the drain plug. After that You can remove the drain plug and allow the fluid to drain and be collected to be recycled. Once the fluid is drained replace the drain plug with a new washer and o ring. When the transmission is all sealed back up You will need to use an oil syringe to add oil to the fill bolt that is at the upper side of the transmission.

For the 2015 ford escape the transmission fluid change interval should be every 150,000 miles.
