The 2015 Ford Escape has a pretty standard battery changing procedure. However, there are a few things in the way. First locate the battery under the hood of the car. It is under a panel, right behind the air box. You can not access the battery before removing the air box in front of it. You will need to remove the four screws holding the air box in place, and get it out of the way, before being able to slide out the battery. You will need to remove the terminals on the battery and then pull it out. Mount Your new battery in the battery tray and then tighten the terminals back in place. You will also need to re-install the air box. Having the air boxBlocking access to the battery is inconvenient, but happens to be what Ford chose to do.

To change the battery on the 2015 ford escape, first remove the brackets. Disconnect the battery cables and clean them. Take the old battery out and replace it with the new one. Connect the battery cables to the new battery. Put the brackets back into place.

When you change the battery on your 2015 ford escape, you need to make sure to use a battery in the 96-r group.
