If there is a warning light on at Your dash letting You know to check Your rear parking aid that is usually a sign that there is a problem with a sensor. The sensors for the parking aid system can be found in Your rear bumper and they are small dots. If You are having problems with Your parking aid system the first thing You should do is try to clean off the sensors. When they become excessively d***y they can give false readings. The next thing that You should do is check the wiring to the sensors by looking up from the bumper. If any of the wires are loose this will also cause the system to alert You.

The ford edge has a check rear park aid system whereby it helps the driver when backing up to detect anything near to its vehicle. If the check rear park aid is sounding that means there is something behind that must be checked before moving back any further.

Park Aid Module and Speaker are located inside the C pillar on the passenger side. 2010 Park Aid module is an obsolete part not sold from Ford, etc. Need to find it in a junk yard. Park Aid Speaker is available from Ford.
