The 2007 Toyota Camry's 2.4 liter 4Cylinder engine is equipped with A5-speed automatic transmission that useS6.9 quarts of Dexron III/Mercon ATF fluid. A transmission flush and filter change is needed every 30,000-50,000 miles. The fluid levels should be checked when the transmission reaches 120 degrees. Position a drain pan underneath the vehicle and transmission. Remove the tranny drain plug with A6 mm socket and as the engine runs, allow the fluid to drain. Darker/blacker fluids indicate the need to flush and replace. Make sure the vehicle is level for accurate draining. Release the cover/pan with a 10 mm socket to access the filter housing. With the engine switched off, remove the two bolts securing the fill plug behind the front wheel. Use a funnel to refill.
