If You want to reset the security system on the 2003 Dodge Ram then You will want to follow these steps. First, get in the car and shut the doors. Now turn the key to the on position and then try to start the car. It won't work because of the system but that is ok. Turn the key to the off position and wait fortwo min. Now turn the key back to the on position and leave it there. After 10 minutes the security light will start to blink. Once it does turn the key to the off position, then immediately start the car. The system is now reset.

To reset the 2003 dodge ram protection system, insert the ignition key and turn it to the on position and then attempt to start the engine (crank over), the engine does not start. With the key still in the run spot, wait 10 minutes, and the safety light will blink and then go out. Turn the key off and wait for 5 seconds.
