To open the trunk on the 2020 Honda CR-V, You have a couple of options. You can release the trunk by pressing the designated button on Your keyfob, or You can walk behind the vehicle and use Your foot to open it if Your hands are full. All You have to do is walk up behind the car, and kick upward right under the bumper. You cant make a side to side motion, so be sure to kick up and then down. If You have had a hitch installed, You will instead need to kick in the up and down motion about 8 inches to the right of the hitch. For best results, make the motion from about two feet away, with or without a hitch installed.

In today's touch less world, we are not always able to get out of the car and open the trunk lid. We have to stay in our car and pop the trunk because workers will not automatically open the trunk and you cannot get out. But I guess Paul did not realize that that happens. And I find this is a very common question lately.

To open a honda crv's trunk you click the trunk release button at the driver's side. You can open the trunk in any of four ways: push the boot release button on the boot lid with the remote in keyless access operating range when the doors are closed. Push back onto the trunk lid to lock the door.
