To open the 2017 Honda Civic hood is very simple and takes a pair of minutes. What you're going to want to do first is open the driver's side door. Then, you will need to bend over to the left side kick panel. In that area, you should see a small lever with a white car with its hood open on it. Pull on that lever. When you hear the hood latch open, walk over to the front of the vehicle. Right under the middle side of the hood, try to find the lever. When you do, push it to the right so the hood latch will unlock. Once it does, go ahead and push the hood up and you're done.
Drivers side kick panel you’ll see a small lever hugging the panel near the bottom of the dash by the door. Pull straight out and it’ll click. Then feel under the front lip of the hood for the safety latch and lift the hood.
