In order to open the trunk on a Ford EcoSport You'll have to locate the handle on the back of the vehicle. The right light on the rear of the vehicle has a space for You to put Your hand underneath and You'll find a button there. Push on the button and open the back door towards You to pull it open. The button is hidden pretty well so it's understandable to have some trouble finding it. The 2020 EcoSport is a subcompact SUV so it's not going to have a ton of trunk space but it does provide 20.9 ft of rear cargo space and a total of 50 ft if You fold down the rear seats. -

To open the truck on the ford ecosport, there is a button located on the center console, or it can be unlocked manually.

The ford ecosport has a trunk that swings sideways and is hinged on the left side of the vehicle.

It seems odd to many but in order to open the trunk for the ford ecosport, you will need to find the hinge release which is on the side rather than the bottom.
