When You need to open the fuel door on a Ford Fusion it is pretty easy to do. There is no standard fuELRelease button in the cab like there are on some models. To open the fuel door the first thing You need to do is unlock the vehicle. After that You will need to either press in on the door if it does not have a lip on it, or pull from the lip if it does have one. This will either spring open or allow You to pry open the door. Once You do that if Your Fusion is newer it may not have a gas cap, just go ahead and use the fuel nozzle in the port and fill it up.

For the ford fusion there is no fuel door release inside the ford fusion. To open the fuel door walk to the outside of the car rear and open it manually.

To open the gas tank on the ford fusion, get out of the vehicle and locate the fuel door. You may need to press a button or notch.
