The security reset procedure is quite simple in a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. The first thing You will need to do is insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the on position, without starting the engine. The dashboard lights will illuminate, and the security light will be flashing. This is going to stay on for about 10 minutes, so You can go ahead and walk away from the car and just leave it sit in the on position. After about 10 minutes the security light will stop blinking and become solid briefly and then go out. Once the light goes out, turn the key back to the off position. Now try starting the vehicle, if the security light went out it should start right up.

To reset the security system in your 2003 Chevy tahoe depress the key fob's panic button for five seconds before pressing the lock button twice standing 10 feet away from the vehicle. Follow by depressing the unlock button twice and your anti theft features should be reset.
