Resetting the engine control module in a 2004Cadilliac SRX is somewhat easy to accomplish. It will take around 17 to 20 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is get into Your car on the driver's side. Now, put Your key into the ignition. Put it into the on position, takeng care not to accidentally crank the motor. Next, open Your car hood. Locate the ecm inside the fuse box located at the front of the engine bay. Remove the fuse, and wait for a period of about 12 to 15 minutes. Then, insert it back into its spot, and close everything up. Restart the engine, and the ecm should now be reset.

To reset the 2004 cadillac srx ecm you will start by turning the car on without starting the ignition. Open the hood and remove the fuse in the engine bay fuse panel that is labeled "ecm". Take it out for 10 minutes and plug it back in.
