Resetting the ECU on a 2007 Toyota RAV4 is a fairly simple task. It should only take about 4 to 9 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is go to the driver's side of Your car, and get inside. Next, place Your key in the ignition, and turn it to the on position. Make sure when You do this that You don't start the engine. Now, use Your right foot to press the gas pedal completely to the floorboard. Hold it for a count of about 3 seconds, then release. Turn Your ignition back into the off position, then fully give the engine a crank. The ecu should be reset.
