How do i perform the 2009 Ford Flex climate control reset?

When the climate control system is not working in Your 2009 Ford Flex the first thing You should do is try to reset the system. Resetting it is pretty easy and it usually clears up software bugs that can pop up within the system. To reset it You will need to put Your vehicle in the on position without the engine running. Next press and hold the AC and Heat buttons at the same time then release the AC button and hold only the Heat button. Continue to hold until the system turns off and then back on again and that should reset the controller for it. With the controller reset it should be working like normal again.

Power and A/C, release A/C while holding power for about 10 seconds then release. Vents should be blowing warmer air.

The answer doesn’t make sense, the car doesn’t have a heat button, it has power defrost auto a/c and circulation buttons…which one do you consider as heat ?

To reset the climate control in your 2009 ford flex turn your ignition key to the "on" position and depress the ac and heater buttons at the same time, release and depress the heat only until a reset is performed.
