In order to reset the maintenance light on a 2010 Toyota Yaris You will first need to turn the vehicle on and look at Your instrument cluster to double check this it is displaying the mileage. If that is set You are good to go but otherwise You'll need to press the trip button. Now turn off the vehicle and located the trip button on hold it down. While keeping that button held down turn the vehicle back on. Do not turn the engine on. You will notice now the odometer is showing some different numbers, keep holding the button down through this process. Once it has stopped You can now let go of the trip button and Your light should be reset.
You set trip meter to trip A, turn key off, hold trip meter button, turn key back to on position and see the horizontal dashes disappear while pressing trip meter. Dashes disappear, turn key off and on, you are ready to go
