To reset the oil light on the 2012 Hyundai Elantra is very easy and only takes a few minutes. What You will first need to do is put Your key in the ignition and start that motor. Now, You will go ahead and press onto and hold the Ok or Reset button for a total of 5 seconds. After the 5 seconds have passed, You're going to let go of that button. Press the button one more time and hold it for at least a second and let go. After You're done, the light should now be reset. You can now turn the engine off. If You want to double check if the light was reset, then turn the ignition to ON and check if the light turns on.

To reset the oil level warning or maintenance light in your 2012 hyundai elantra vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Release and start your vehicle and oil light should indicate a reset.
