First, park the car and make sure all doors are shut and locked. Then, slot in Your key into the driver side door and unlock the car. Once it opens, quickly put Your key into the ignition slot, and set the cars ignition to the ON position. Once the ignition has been set to ON, make sure You dont start the car. You should know because all the accessories will turn on, but the cars engine wont. Once the ignition comes on, turn off the car and repeat the same process twice to reset the anti-theft. If You're having trouble, consult Your owners manual. It contains a detailed walk-through of the steps You need to take to reset the anti-theft on Your 2014 Chevy Malibu.

To reset the anti theft security alarm on the 2014 Chevy malibu you need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side and put the key into the on position. Now turn it off and then back on twice and it will reset. If the immobilizer is messed up then the alarm will not work.

Yeah I tried what Jeffry A said and it definitely did not work. Still haven’t figured it out
It worked for me after getting in the car and driving around for about 12 minutes. Then I parked it. Shut it off. Took the key out all the way. Stayed in the driver's seat. Didn't open any doors. Then put the key back in and turned it to the ON position and let it sitr there for 30 seconds then I started the caranf haven't had any issues since

I reset my ATS by locking my self in the car .,letting down the drivers front window, using the key to unlock drivers door. Then, quickly inserting the key into the ignition, turning the key into the on position until ATS light disappears then turn the key to crank the car.
