Changing the 2014 Dodge Durango transmission fluid in the car is a medium-difficulty operation that will take around 1-2 hours. The first thing You want to do is jack an SUV with a hydraulic jack or a jack stand. Then go underneath and drain the fluid out of the transmission pan. If this is finished, You should open the transmission pan and replace the filter. After that, You're going to have to bring the transmission pan back together and the drain plug. You should then reload the required fluid to the top of the transmission fluid reservoir. Your 2014 Dodge Durango will also have a gasket, a pick-up tube and a rubber seal that will need to be replaced with a filter. Your SUV transmission filter will need to be replaced every 30,000 or 50,000 miles.

To add transmission fluid to the 2014 dodge durango park the car on an even surface and pop the hood. Locate the transmission and look for the dipstick sticking out, it will have a round o ring on the end. Pull it out and wipe it clean, then stick it back in and see were it is on the fill level. Locate the intake spout on the transmission, then insert a funnel if needed. Pour fluid into the vehicle until the dipstick show that it is full. Put the dipstick back, close the intake spout and you are finished.
