To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in Your 2014 Kia Rio, add or remove the desired amount of air in each tire after the vehicle has been parked a while. Once You're sure the air pressure is accurate all the way around the vehicle, turn the ignition to the ON position, but don't actually start the engine. Press and hold the TPMS reset button, which is beneath the steering column. Hold it until the light in the instrument cluster blinks three times. Give the system a few minutes to receive readings from all sensors. Turn the ignition off and start the vehicle. If the light is off, the reset has been completed. If not, try driving it for at least 10 minutes at speeds above 30 miles per hour. If the light still doesn't go off, You likely need to have the reading from each sensor taken by an OBD-II scan tool and then uploaded to the system.
