The oil change light on Your 2014 Mazda CX5 needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. If You don't reset the light, You will find that Your vehicle will indicate that You need another oil change sooner than would be necessary. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, turn the ignition to the "Run" position without starting the engine and then use the navigation buttons to select "Settings" on Your display and then select "Info." Scroll to "Maintenance" and select it and then scroll to "Scheduled" and select "Reset." From here, You can change the time and distance for the next maintenance period and You can also reset the oil change light. You have completed the procedure and You can turn Your ignition off.
